My Dog Had a Tumor

My dog Nunya was diagnosed with nasal cancer.  The symptoms and diagnosis came on very quickly, and it has been quite the emotional experience.  After exploring treatment options, my husband and I decided to proceed with tomotherapy radiation treatment in combination with chemotherapy medication.  I’m sorry to report that Nunya passed away on August 6th.  We have kept a detailed blog of our experiences with tomotherapy treatment and Nunya’s side effects. We hope that by detailing out what we and Nunya have been through, we can help pass along information to others who find themselves in the same situation.
